What does a Functional Diagnostic Nutrition (FDN) Practitioner do?

FDN's are like health detectives that uncover causes of dysfunction in the body. We will help you understand why you're experiencing your symptoms through in depth assessments and functional laboratory work. We will connect the dots for you and provide a tailored plan to help restore your body to normal function without diagnosing or treating a specific condition. We are not a replacement for your primary medical care.

 

Can you work with me if I live in another state?

Yes, I work with clients digitally across the U.S.

Will insurance cover my labs?

Generally no. I do not work with any insurance companies nor do I provide insurance billing services. In some cases, lab fees can be paid up front through your employer's Health Savings Account (HSA).

When will I start to feel better?

Results are individualized and usually depend on how long your body has been stressed and experiencing symptoms. Working with me does not guarantee results. However, there are reasonable expectations that symptoms will resolve as your body begins to restore balance.

I have a lot of mystery symptoms. What happens if your labs don't pick up on my symptoms?

Of course we cannot guarantee any outcomes, but we pride ourselves on being health detectives. We are certified by Functional Diagnostic Nutrition©. Our organization provides high-level mentorship to its practitioners on individual cases, so several minds are available to look at your test results and come up with a plan of action.

In addition, we have about 100 tests other than the basic package available to use. So, if warranted, we can conduct a deeper investigation into your health challenges. We won’t stop until you feel better.
